Advice and answers from the ActionSprout Team

People is a powerful feature that allows you to sort through all of the supporters who have engaged with your Facebook posts or taken your action(s).

Supporter Data

Each supporter who has engaged with you in someway on Facebook will receive their own profile inside your ActionSprout account. This profile lists all personal information they have shared with you thus far (phone number, email, etc), their past history with you, how much they have given to your cause and more:

As you can see above, the first page of this profile will tally how many actions they have completed, how many comments they made, how many posts they liked and their total donations to your cause, as well as, their personal information.

On the second page of the profile under Activity you'll find a complete history of their engagement with you on Facebook and through your social actions:

Depending on how a particular supporter has engaged with your cause, you may or may not have contact information for them:

Completed an action: If your supporter has completed one of your actions you will see their email address, where they live and any additional information you asked for up top next to their name.

Only engaged: If they have only engaged with your posts on Facebook, by liking and commenting, you will receive a link to their Facebook profile and a list of their engagement.

Filtering and Sorting

Under People you’ll find some options to sort your people by:

Active: Anyone who has engaged with or completed an action in the last 7 days.

New: Anyone who engaged with or completed one of your actions for the first time in the last 7 days. This is someone who has never engaged with your actions in any way until now.

Action Takers: Anyone who has completed at least one of your actions. This first is now a contactable supporter who has opted into future communications with your organization.

All People: A master list of everyone captured in your ActionSprout account.

At the top of this screen you’ll also find the option to further filter your action takers by particular action:

Or by date of first seen or last seen engaging with your Facebook page:

Exporting supporter data

Once you have your report configured you can export it as a CSV file by clicking the Export button at the top right corner of your screen:

Note: The data in People exports centers on your supporters. When did they first engage with your content, what actions have they taken or engaged with etc… If you want data about a particular Action jump into your actions tab and click the export button next to the action in question.
