Have an important Social Action that you’d like to push out to a wider audience? ActionSprout can work hand-in-hand with your Facebook Ads Manager for a powerful one-two punch. By using them together, you can optimize your outreach for both Facebook and mobile, while targeting any audience you’d like to reach.

The Process 

Step 1: Create your campaign in ActionSprout. 

Step 2: Post your new Social Action to Facebook.

Step 3: Open your Facebook Ads Manager.

Step 4: Find the green “Create Ad” button.

Step 5: Select “Engagement” from the list of ad options.

Step 6: Name your ad campaign. 

Step 7: Select the audience you’d like your campaign to reach.

Notice the Audience Definition dial on the right-hand side when selecting your audience. You’ll want the arrow to be in the green zone.

Step 8: Select the action you want to boost and the Facebook page that the action was posted to (over on the left of the screen).

Step 9: Open the lower drop-down menu and find your action post. You’ll then see a preview of your ad on the right of your screen.

Step 10: Once you’re happy with your ad, click the “Place order” button at the bottom of the page. Your ad will then be placed in review with Facebook’s ad team. Once it's accepted and launched—usually within the hour or so—you'll be able to see the status of your ads back on the first page of your Ads Manager.

And that’s it! All action data will then flow into your ActionSprout account and appear on your action’s activity page.
